Bill Rothenbach is President of HLHRC. He has over 40 years of Human Resources experience in the industrial manufacturing, consumer packaged goods, distribution, financial services and management consulting industries. Most recently he was Chief Human Resources Officer for J.J. Haines, the largest flooring distribution company in the U.S., where he was responsible for all people-related strategies, policies and practices. He has also served on the executive leadership teams of Black & Decker, Colfax and Fidelity & Guaranty Life. Earlier Human Resources experience was gained at Sara Lee, Bausch & Lomb and Procter & Gamble. Bill was also a member of the Associate Faculty at Towson University for five years where he taught in their Graduate School Human Resources Development Program.
He holds an M.A. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from The University of Akron and a B.A. in Psychology from Edinboro University. Bill is an accredited Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and has published numerous professional articlesI. The field of Talent Management.
Bill also serves on the Advisory Boards for the following organizations: Edinboro University Foundation, Chesapeake Human Resources Foundation, UMBC Industrial/Organizational Psychology Graduate School Program, the PennWest-Edinboro College of Science and Health Professions, and the Harford County (MD) Cultural Arts Board. He has received Distinguished Alumni Awards from Edinboro University and North Allegheny High School. He is also an accomplished abstract painter.
